Sue Palmer

Sue Palmer is a specialist in child development and author of ‘Toxic Childhood: how the modern world is damaging our children ... and what we can do about it’ (Orion, 2nd edition 2015). A former primary headteacher, she has written over 250 books, software packages and TV programmes for schools on aspects of literacy and worked for many organisations, including the English National Literacy Strategy, the National Literacy Trust and the BBC.
